Il modello 9190A Ultra-Cool Field Metrology Well è il più accurato, stabile, freddo dry-block nel mercato. Ideale per applicazioni ove vi possono essere restrizioni in termini di qualità o conformità : quali processi di validazione e taratura di RTD, termocoppie, termometri impiegati in settore congelatori medici o laboratori, banche del sangue, sterilizzatori (autoclavi). Perfetto per applicazioni in camere bianche, ove è sconsigliabile avere vapori di fluidi (che si avrebbero impiegando bagni a fluido).
